Arca-Type Auto-Locking Quick Release Adapter

The Q=Base Quick Release from Novoflex is a clever Arca-type auto-locking quick release adapter. Attaching the camera or lens to this clamp results in a positive snap, eliminating the risk associated with tightening the normal Arca-type vice. Your gear is incapable of falling, and fore & aft travel within the clamp is possible until the knurled external ring is twisted. This makes it beneficial for macro shooters, where it acts as a secure focusing rail. An allen-wrench activated anti-twist pin prohibits loss of friction between the Q=Base and tripod head.

The Q=Base is compatible with all Arca-type quick release plates, available separately.
