Neutral Density Filter
The 82mm 0.9 (3 Stops) Neutral Density Filter from Heliopan is specially designed to reduce all different wavelengths of light for an even reduction in exposure. This allows your shutter speed to be slowed, which is particularly useful when photographing water and tides, or when a dramatic effect is desired. It also makes it possible to work with a wider aperture than normally required, providing greater control over depth of field. With a 0.9 density, it will provide a 3 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. Neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.The filter uses Schott glass, to ensure your images are sharp and clear, with true colour and contrast. Each glass surface also features four layers of anti-reflection coating to help increase light transmission by reducing reflections, scattered light, and ghosting. These coatings also help to protect the filter substrate while keeping the glass clean for longer than uncoated versions. The brass mounting ring offers enhanced durability and jamming prevention, and an 82mm front filter thread allows for use with other filters.
