The 72mm 0.6 (2 Stops) SH-PMC Neutral Density Filter from Heliopan is specially designed to reduce all different wavelengths of light for an even reduction in exposure. This allows your shutter speed to be slowed, which is particularly useful when photographing water and tides, or when a dramatic effect is desired. It also makes it possible to work with a wider aperture than normally required, providing greater control over depth of field. With a 0.6 density, it will provide a 2 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. Neutral density filters do not affect the colouration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.The filter uses Schott glass to ensure your images are sharp and clear, with true colour and contrast. The SH-PMC multi-coating provides a total of 16 coatings, 8 per side, for significant reflection reduction (below 0.2%) as well as dust and moisture repellence for easier cleaning. It is finished with a dual-threaded brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention, and the 72mm front filter thread permits combining with other filters.
