Multifunctional 6 Stop Neutral Density Filter with CPL
The 62mm ND64 (1.8) HUC PRO Nano IR Neutral Density Filter with CPL from NiSi is a multifunctional filter that allows you to control reflections as well as your shutter speed. Now, you no longer need to stack your CPL and ND filters, meaning less glass in front of your lens.
With a 1.8 density, this filer will provide a 6 stop reduction in light from entering the lens. Normally, when using a neutral density filter the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which can cause an unwanted red colour cast in images when shooting at small apertures. To prevent this, NiSi has added the infrared protection coating layer to this filter which helps to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural colour.
Made using SCHOTT Optical Glass, it offers outstanding sharpness with no colour cast. It also features NiSi’s unique nano coating technology which reduces reflection on the surface of the filter to help with ghosting and flare. In addition, a protective water and grease-proof layer makes it easy to wipe off water, dust, and oil from the filter without worrying about scratching your glass. It is finished with an ultra slim frame that measures just 4.9mm, helping to reduce light falloff.
