The black 60mm f/2.8 APO-Macro-Elmarit-TL ASPH. from Leica is an L-mount macro lens made for use with the T-series of Leica mirrorless cameras. Designed for working with close-up subjects, the lens offers a short telephoto 90mm equivalent focal length. Its true macro design permits working with a life-size 1:1 maximum magnification ratio, with a 16 cm minimum focusing distance (or a 6 cm minimum working distance). This is complimented by a bright maximum aperture of f/2.8 that makes it easier to work in low-light conditions, and provides control over depth of field for creative focus.
The lens uses an internal focusing design to maintain the overall lens length during use which is beneficial when working with close-up subjects. An Apochromatic optical design reduces colour fringing and chromatic aberrations throughout the focusing range for impressive clarity and accurate colours, while four aspherical elements reduce spherical aberrations for increased sharpness.
The lens is completed with a durable metal lens barrel for a classic feel, and full-time manual focus operation enables more precise control when needed. A matching aluminum alloy lens hood is also included.
