About Us
From the Ground Up
Progear is a family-owned and run business, developed by Graham
Glamuzina seven years ago after he became unwell and began trading
photographic equipment online.
During the year it took Graham to get better he traded more than
$1million worth of stock. His wife got fed up with all the at-home
trading and pressure from Canon saw the business legitimized with
an official name and premises in Newmarket, Auckland.
Graham's philosophy is simple. It is about integrity. He
envisages Progear to still be offering superlative service and
quality products to its customers in many years to come.
Personal Touch
You can't go past human contact. In this brave new world with
technological advances made everyday, our business model is very
old fashioned. It is about people as opposed to sales. That's why
our shop is set up like a meeting place rather than a retail
store.
Feel free to come in and try out the new lens you have your eye
on. Discuss in person your photographic queries and we'll do all we
can to find you the best solution. All our sales people are
photographers and love photography just as much as you do.
We will do whatever it takes to put a deal together and offer
different types of finance. Regular customers are rewarded with
tiered discounts.

We cater to all your photography needs with the highest quality
photographic equipment from leading brands - Canon, Nikon, Fuji,

market - B+W, Tiffen and Lee also allow creative options for

Second Time Around
Something to trade? We offer good money for second-hand gear

with the gear you want to trade, as we always need to assess it in
person, before giving a final quote.
